Growing up an orphaned street kid, 18 year old Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) becomes a contestant on India's version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?". With every question, Jamal flashes back to his strenuous life experiences for answers that ultimately render him a millionaire. Winner of eight Grammy Awards.
